My last post was about my knee. It has issues still. Cold weather kills me. I’m going to try and do better on here. Blog more. I’ve got to get my knee moving and try to loose weight.

For five years I’ve been fighting this horrible leg issue. I just kept thinking that my because my mom and her two sister have all had both knees replaced, that this would be my destiny. So I kept pushing myself. Then decided to see a dr. He said my knees were great. No worries. Till one night as I was placing my dogs into their crates, as I stood up, the pain was so hugely horrible I fell to my knees and had to crawl bed. Went to the hospital the next day. Two bulging disc. So. Off to Dallas which is 8 hours from where I live.

I see a dr there. He says my back is not bad for a women my age. For a year he tried everything, blocks, pills, until one day he asked me to walk across the floor and says. It’s your knee. And wants me off to another dr there.

I was sooooooo up set when he walked in and said. Your bone on bone. And that doesn’t happen over night. It takes years. So whomever said your knees were great. Lied to you.

Joy…

So, as of Oct 3 I have a new knee. And it’s been a pain. I didn’t know that for the first two years. Any. ANY…infection you get, can go to your knee. Three weeks after I get home! My hubby brings a cold home that I get and turns to a sinus infection. Luckily my aunt called to check on me and said GET to a dr. And now there are two little places that seem to be seeping.

Ugh…

So, my post may be very few and far between as I try to heal. It’s a lot of work. All you do. All day long is bend and move and work it.
